Yes, those are hens on my blouse.  Yes, they are wearing berets, thank you for noticing.  Speaking of, weird animal prints are IN this Spring, my friends.  I mean, I'm talking like out of the ordinary prints: jellyfish, chameleons, flamingos... french hens.  So break out your wildlife side and freshen up your wardrobe with some funky prints!  Also, anything related to Paris is always fashionable.

Printed sweaters are such a staple.  Simple, warm, and flattering they add feminine charm to any outfit.  In an attempt to battle the Cali rain I tried to stay warm.  Thanks, J. Crew, for your plethora of oddball sweaters that clutter my bursting closet!  Keeping it simple with high-waisted black pants and knee-high boots, the finished affect is polished and agile.  Add a string of pearls for that classic charm and you're good to go!

You can't make much more of a statement than plaid pants.  Throwback to my Dad's golfing pants... these are just a little bit, well, less hideous.  Actually, it's their capacity to be hideous that, I think, makes them fabulous.  You can't wear such a loud pair of pants meekly, they need to be matched by complete confidence, otherwise they'll wear you.  Isn't that always the case, though?  Shouldn't we all wear our clothes with pride?  After all, it's the first thing people see when they look at you-- clothes are their window into who you are.  So dress to impress!  Dress for you!

Purple pants?  Check.  Winged eyeliner?  Check.  Positive attitude?  Well... I'm working on it.  Yes, it is that time in the quarter- midterms!  So as the saying goes: stressed, depressed, but well dressed.  My mother always says, if you look good, you feel good!  Clothing in many ways is a costume.  You put forth the face you want people to see.  My advice?  Be bold.  Be creative.  Be yourself.  There is nothing more attractive or more interesting than someone who celebrates who they are.  Today I expressed my deep love of dramatic pants.  These linen trousers are soft, loose, and very Audrey.  For me, the key to fashion is simplicity.  Trousers and turtleneck may not sound like much, but it's how and what you pair it with that makes it stylish.
